Spring is here, at least I think it is, it seems like it is, I hope that it is. I live in Maine and as much as I want to believe that we’ve made it out of winter, the reality is that snow is pretty nearly always a possibility. Regardless, the forsythia is in full bloom, the cherry blossoms are blessing us with all their pinky promise, and the tulips have made their full dramatic ascension. Living in New England I am more connected to the seasons than I ever have been before. Nature is not just something we witness, it is part and parcel of existence. We are made of the earth, we are connected quite literally to the trees and flowers and birds, as a friend of mine recently stated, “it’s not a metaphor,” we affect everything, and everything affects us.
This spring, I am ready to see what the world can bring post-pandemic, I am excited to witness all the growth that we have in front of us, and I would like to help others who have struggled and are suffering so much in the wake of all the tragedy and devastation that Covid-19 has brought about.
So, if you book a family or lifestyle session in the Month of May, 15% of your session fee will be donated to Together Rising, a nonprofit platform that I believe is doing incredible work to make the world a better place. These sessions do not need to take place in the month of May, and can be booked in both New England, or San Diego, as I have a tentative San Diego trip planned June 17-21! Which is another big announcement.
Starting May 1st, there will be no quarantine travel restrictions coming to and from Maine, which is so exciting, I can travel again, and I will. If you have questions about booking, the fundraiser, or anything else for that matter, please don’t hesitate to contact me, I’d love to hear from you.
