Your wedding day is a big deal. Let’s be honest here, it can feel overwhelming. There are months, sometimes years of planning that can go into creating one day of celebration and ceremony. You may have someone organizing all of this for you, or you may do it all yourself, you may be juggling designing, planning, coordinating, floral, food, cake, and trying to also include and consider the traditions, inspiration, and ideas of your friends and family. It’s a LOT. Sometimes it comes together easily, and other times it feels a little bit like a rollercoaster. Then, on your day, it goes by FAST. Things you’ve been planning for a year come and go and it can feel like a blink of an eye. Weddings bring people together in a way that is rare in life. How often is it that the most important people, the ones who’ve known you through everything, are all together in one place? Maybe a few times? Maybe just this once?
Your job on your wedding day is to get married, to soak it all in, to feel all that love, and be present in that very special moment.
My job on your wedding day is to make sure that the story of your wedding is told.
The minute I arrive at your wedding, I get to work taking beautiful photos that create a visual archive, so that those moments that just fly by are preserved forever. I do everything I can to not only photograph the big moments of your day, but to also capture the little details, the friends and family, and the joy of your wedding.
My style is natural, unposed, and candid. Posing is kept to a minimum and generally reserved for formal wedding party photos. I work in the space between photojournalism and portraiture and I do everything I can to not interrupt the flow of your ceremony and celebration. I want your photos to be true to who you are, who your guests are, and the genuine happiness that you experience.

Here are a few of my favorite wedding photos for couples looking into photography for their big day. Before we go forward with booking, I like to make sure that all of my couples are familiar and happy with my style of photography and know what to expect for their own photos.
