Photographing Families is the Heartbeat of my Photography Practice.

Family is where it all started for me. Families celebrating the most important days of their lives. Families welcoming new babies into their homes. Families growing together, and seeing each other, and building a life. Mothers and fathers and children and animals. People showing up and being their most authentic selves. People doing the most spectacular job of moving through the world together, forever choosing each other.

I want you to have images of the real love that your family shares, your children as they are, and an experience that everyone remembers fondly.

Something that I care about deeply is that your children never get the feeling that they need to be anything other than who they really are in the moment.

They are not expected to smile if they don't want to, it is far more important to me that we create a document that is true. Photo sessions can take place at your home or a location that you choose. If you would like me to suggest a location I would be happy to. I live in Southern Maine, where within an hour we have beautiful beaches, stunning rocky coasts, forests, and flower gardens.
